The County Register Founder
Heather Heber Percy
Heather is one of Britain’s foremost introduction agency specialists. She studied at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and set up a small agency in Shropshire in 1983 which quickly grew to national coverage within 3 years. From the beginning, she based her service on personal interviews rather than ‘matching’ people through questionnaires or computer databases. In 1991, she created a specialised service to concentrate on providing the more in-depth search process offered by County Register.

Heathers Experience As A Matchmaker
Her years in the business have given her tremendous insights into human relationships. She uses these, together with her sympathetic interviewing skills, to gain a clear understanding of her clients’ needs and thus match them with suitable partners.
Heather also spent many years as a trainer for the Samaritans. Her expertise and knowledge means that she is often called upon for professional opinion and comment by the national press and media.
Tracey Cater
Membership Adviser Of The Year 2022 – view award
Tracey is a farmers daughter from Warwickshire and it’s therefore totally appropriate that she joined the County Register in 2019 to work as a Membership Adviser. Having worked in the industry initially for Attractive Partners in 2007 and then the Dating Options Group, as a Senior Matchmaker and Matchmaking Team Manager at their Head Office in Warwickshire. Here Tracey built up considerable knowledge and expertise in those roles, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience of the dating industry.
Tracey’s empathetic demeanour along with her conscientious and caring nature and strong work ethic has brought a new dimension to the company, allowing potential clients to talk to her frankly but in complete confidence. She is a real asset to the County Register team.
Kim Shaw
Following the retirement of Geraldine Turner in 2019, after 36 years at the helm, we are delighted to announce that Kim Shaw has been appointed as General Manager at The County Register and works with high end clients to provide the care and customer service that is very much expected of the County Register brand in conjunction with the founder Heather Heber Percy.
Kim came into the dating industry in 2016 and quickly became a Senior Matchmaker. She was then promoted to Matchmaking Team Manager, running one of the largest and most successful Matchmaking Teams in the country. Kim’s success is down to leadership, customer service skills of the highest calibre and generally providing the sort of service that has been associated with The County Register since our formation in 1983
