We have been around in these parts now for more than 40 years, since two young mums conversed every day at the school gates in nearby Ludlow, Shropshire, waiting for their children to emerge and decided to launch a high-end dating service, aimed initially at farmers and country folk.
The two ladies in question, Heather Heber Percy and Geraldine Turner, worked together for 36 years to build The County Register and although we lost Geraldine to retirement in 2019, Heather is still going strong today, overseeing our personal matchmaking operation and working with her own group of VIP clients. She has become one of the best known and most talented personal matchmakers in the world during those 4 decades.
