It was way back in 1983 that two young mums, our founders Heather Heber Percy and Geraldine Turner, met outside the school gates and went on to establish The County Register. Since that time, we have been proud to bring a traditional personal matchmaking service to the Edinburgh area and have enjoyed many successes down the years, by introducing likeminded people.
We are delighted to say that Heather still works with us today on a part time basis and still oversees our matchmaking operation personally – more than half a lifetime on from when she founded the company. She continues to support a handful of personal clients too.
Our service is vastly different to that typically provided by an online company or dating app in that we meet and interview everybody personally, either in your own home on our top membership packages, at one of our offices.
