The County Register is one of the oldest dating brands in the UK and has been providing carefully thought out personal matchmaking services in Merseyside since 1983. The company was and remains today the brainchild of Heather Heber Percy, the Founder and President, who originally began providing this high end dating service to farmers and the country set, in towns and villages across Merseyside and beyond.
We are proud to say that although we are now into our 4th decade of operation, that Heather is still very much involved today, providing high calibre potential partners to members across Merseyside.
What We Do
At The County Register, since its formation in 1983, we have been providing high end, exclusive personal matchmaking memberships, to the people of Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Originally they were offered to farmers and the country set in but gradually we have diversified to offer service to all professions and individuals from a professional background.
The County Register was founded in Shropshire by Heather Heber Percy, who has become one of the best-known names in dating in the UK in the years subsequent to this and is the current Chairperson of the DAA. Heather is still very much involved with the company today and very much oversee its day to day running.
Our Matchmaking Services
There are 5 membership levels within The County Register and whilst joining fees are higher than joining an online dating site, where you are very much on your own. Working with your own professional matchmaker understandably costs a little more but is still within the budgets of most working professionals or active, executive calibre retired people.
We believe it is a necessary investment too, as with online dating fraud running in excess of £100,000,000 per annum and online dating crime fast becoming one of the fastest growing crime categories in Western Europe – the BBC’s Panorama highlighted more than 1 million fake profiles in the UK alone, we don’t believe that you should be searching on the internet for partners without the support of a professional matchmaking company like The County Register, who do such an immense amount to keep you safe.
