The County Register was founded in 1983 not far from Staffordshire, in neighbouring Shropshire, by Heather Heber Percy. Heather started her introduction agency initially to bring like-minded farmers, landowners and the County Set together as she came across so many attractive successful singles who were not meeting each other. Her success in introducing happy couples has gone from strength to strength and now the County Register has members spread countrywide, bringing together successful attractive singles now from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all areas of the country.
